Ok kinda...
The chat server software is being replaced with a quality IRCD server. This means that while I am setting it up, the server will be rebooted a few times this morning (patches I have been holding off on) and then there will be no web client to connect to chat with.
Those with an IRC client will be able to hop in and check out the new digs... I setup the server last night and tested it. I also setup services to help make things easier on everyone!!!

Still doing a number of software updates to the server at this time...
The server will still bw chat.ar15.com and the main channel will still be #lobby to keep consistency...
Some sort of web client will be setup to connect to the server for those who do not wish to use a full client.

Ok, the new chat server is up... the software is now a classic IRCD server with service bots running to ease things... ok well ease things for me!
To register your nickname:
1) set your nickname
2) type: /msg nickserv register PASSWORD
- remember your password!!!
when you log into the server you will need to type: /msg nickserv identify PASSWORD
and then the system will allow you to use your nickname

Just a friendly FYI... these service bots make it VERY easy to manage and put the pain down on people, so behave and have fun like always!
