 Need some help with supplements

Ok, I'm "dieting" to loose weight. Basically trying to stay away from carbs, eating four to five small meals a day. The only time I really have available to work out is Mon, Tues, and Thurs in the early morning, like getting up at 315am and working out until 5am. (The gym is about 3 minutes from my house) I think I have a good weight lifting routine with cardio following. I am taking some supplements but I want to make sure what I am taking is right for my goal, which is to loose weight and tone up. I plan on trying to bulk up with muscle after I get some belly fat off.

What can you guys recommend for a good pre-workout supplement? Post-workout? How about fat burners for an extra boost?

Currently on workout days I take 2 scoops of Jack3d before working out, and a scoop of Syntha-6 protein powder with water following the workout. On my off days I use the Syntha-6 as a meal replacement or snack and I also use OxyElite Pro fat burners on my off days. I try to take a multi vitamin and fish oil pill every morning, as well as a fish oil pill every night before bed.

Give Neurocore a try for pre-workout , it is similar to what you are taking now.

Jacked is good but expensive as is everything else you have listed. You should not spend more on supps than you do on food.

I won't buy a presup unless its dirt cheap...like around $20 a container full. When nothing can be found on sale 2-3 packs of energy drink mix work very well. It does lack the magic potions that presups have but it feels about the same. The drink mix is <$2 for 10 little packets so its around .50 for a serving where as jacked is around a dollar a scoop and I'm sure most of us use 2-3 scoops of that...to much for my cheap ass!

Energy drink mix?... Care to elaborate? I'm interested in something other than Jacked, especially for 'regular use' at work and such...

2 scoops of Jacked is ~ $0.90 IIRC... 45scoops/container @ about $22 depending on where you get it.

Its like crystal lite plus caffeine, vitamins, and other such stuff. I get it a Walmart...its right with the other drink mixes.

That's a smokin deal you get on jacked. When I have found it around that price it was usually some shitty flavor the vendor couldn't sell. Although I haven't looked for any in 6 or so months now. The local places want $40-$45 for a jug of it

I'll have to check out this stuff at walmart. I didnt know it existed. I blow through like 2 mio-energy bottles/wk... that green shit is good.

Amazon is like $24-28 for jacked, still not too bad.

I snag it from a local place when they have sales... White blue raspberry is f'n good. Lemon lime tastes like gym socks.

Syntha-6 is pretty heavy if you're trying to cut weight. Check out chaosandpain.blogspot.com and his predator diet for some ultralean protein recommendations- but be warned, the blog is HIGHLY not safe for work, your wife or girlfriend, etc.

Found the goods... @ $0.17/serving (60mg caffeine ~3mg/$0.01) it's not too bad, few diff flavors too~. On the other hand... I found "Walmart" brand mio energy green liquid of amazingness... <$2.78/bottle with 24 servings(50mg caffeine ~4mg/$0.01)

You just saved me a few $/week. =) Still not as cheap as generic caffeine pills, but more efficacious in my experience.

Glad I could help!

I am going to have to get some of that liquid stuff...I had no idea they had 24 servings in those little bottles!
