I've been primal for 5 weeks now. I have definitely cut up quite a bit but I'm really trying to get my abs to totally define. Would IF once or twice a week help at all with the finishing work or is it more for the guys/girls trying to lose the heavy weight?
It might help...it might not...worth a try maybe. Sorry, that's a shitty answer, but IF can be very different for different people.

I've been doing the lean gains body recomp for almost 2 months now. Weekly average weight is down over 4 pounds and BF% down 1.5-2% (measured with caliper so there is some margin of error). But, lifts have been increasing weekly, which is my main goal. I could shed the extra weight quicker by going with a more aggressive overall calorie cut but it would be at the expense of increasing strength.
Personally, the IF schedule fits my habits. Like Roland said, depends on the individual.
