Anybody at Phoenix or Marmal?

Back in the Stan again, shit is it different that last time. Lotat stuff going on and 370 more days before I pop smoke back to the big PX.
I will be working in RC-C, RC-N, and RC-E - wanted to see if any ARFcommers are getting together to shoot the shit. On a positive note I have burned up about 1K of ammo since training began.

I'm in the KBC as well...the place that has the good DFAC. I'd rather talk in the mil forum or via IM though. I've got about two months more to go....

Enjoy all the German and Hungarian ponytails over at Marmal. I bounce in and out of the camp across the runway. Love going over to the DFAC at Marmal to watch them!

BTW, I took that picture at the Freedom Bridge crossing from Termiz, Uzbekistan into AFG back in 2003 on a road trip from K2 to MES, oh the good ole days, jump in a Land Cruiser, file a route plan and drive from one Stan to another Stan and nobody said a thing..

Spent some time at Mermal and Spann, was a little father north normally though.
My last memories of Marmal are the hospital. The German and Norwegean nurses made the whole surgery and medvac thing a lot better.

was in phoenix in 08. except for it being a cramped base- lots of people in a smal space not too bad- good quarters and food and px fairly well stocked most of the time. back them we could buy antique guns at the bazaar and ship them home-buying and shipping martinis lebels and sniders was my primary entertainment. unfortunately I hear they have tightened up significantly on guns going home since then.

Yeah, Rambo is the first person I see at the gate when we RP back to Phoenix. He doesn't have a weapon, so he reminds me of the old man greeter at Walmart.
