How often should I engage the 4X4 on my 2012 F150 FX4?

I just bought a new F150 FX4 last week.
I rarely go off road. I mostly bought the 4X4 for resale value at the end. Should I routinely activate the 4X4 to keep everything lubed up?

yep

Just be sure and not drive it on a hard packed surface, like the street. A gravel road works just fine.

If you drive without a center diff on a surface with good traction, around tight turns, you will get drive line binding. You can drive all day long straight in 4HI, if you want to waste gas, won't be a problem.
