Just got my first Ram.

Just has a ding and scuff on the front bumper, which I'll get to at some point.
I love it, it's nice to have some actual space now. I'm young so of course I'm going to want to tinker with the damn thing, just don't know what all to do to it yet. Thoughts?

Love my '05. Does yours have the MDS? If it does, some exhaust make it sound a little fart canny. Only issue so far was a bad door lock.

It looks like an '06 or newer, so it would have MDS
I also have an '05. I've had a couple problems but nothing major or that expensive to fix. Overall, it's been the best truck I've owned.
The best modifications I've made to mine is getting decent shocks since the stock shocks are junk and putting on mud tires.

Great looking truck. My 05 has been flwless since the day I picked it up.
Best mod? Spray in bedliner.
Next up? Decent tires (those Goodyears SUCK).

Yeah the tires while not the best will have to last a bit longer on the damn thing. I'm probably going to get a stealth box (Just an 8 or 10 so I don't blow my speakers with bass) and make an intake with pvc. Saw on another site where a guy did it himself for 80 and was getting 20 percent more than a KnK one.

SuperChips 3865 is the only programmer worth a damn on these trucks. I've been through them all and currently use an SCT custom tune to work with my other mods, but for a "canned" tune, SuperChips is the only way to go.

How do these work? Is it a simple plug and flash or? What all do I have to do on my part?

New it was an '06+ didn't know if the mds came in 06 or 07's.
Good mods- intake, long tube headers, super chips. muffler. IF you want to go 1 little step further put the 6.1 cam in. With yours having the mds, you'll have to swap out the lifters.

Had an '08 with the V6. Wouldn't go anywhere very fast but still a good truck over all.
