As for me WRT the question posed, the first reply nailed it. My Lord and Master created the universe and everything in it according to His good pleasure. If He created other life on other worlds, so be it. If He decided not to reveal that to me/us until now, so be it.

It is my personal belief that there is something far more insidious than Aliens who would have us believe in a hope..any hope..inside or outside ourselves.. other than God our Creator. Reincarnation, Alien life, Universal Energy… all these are far more enjoyable to dwell on than “every knee shall bow and every tongue confesses that Jesus Christ is Lord.”
We love to believe various entertaining deceptions because it helps in our attempt to ignore our convictions.

It is my belief that God chose mankind alone to create in his image...breathe into and give a living and eternal soul.
That the vastness but emptiness of space only highlights the fact that what is here… is our Creators favorite Creation.

Are there lights in the sky not made by men...I have no problem with that at all.

Presence of alien life would not affect my faith any. From a different point of view though, I have some insight. My wife and I worked on a test program together. She was briefed to Area 51, I was not, so I can talk about some things I "absorbed" when dealing with her and a number of others. I knew very active Protestants, Mormons and Jehova's witnesses that spent a significant amount of time out there. No-body ever questionaed their faith. Due to the fact that alien life COULD put another explanation for how human life came to be on our planet, I would expect SOMEONE from our group to have questions, if alien life/death was present. I question the FBI report.

I don't know what was really recovered... but from this report? Well.... while weather balloons were not described in the Old Testament, it doesn't exactly shake my belief in the Creator if that's what your asking.

I believe that God came to the earth as flesh, walked on water, cured the ill, and was killed and rose again.... I have faith or beliefs in things that few if anyone alive today has seen anything similar. Compared to that, flying dinner plates with little green men seems pretty weak?

I study my bible and I KNOW god is real ,I don't see why God would are wouldn't create another life form. I'm unchanged.

Well, the Bible states that with God, that the potentiality of all things to manifest themselves as present realities for all or just some are possible, that is, if spiritual laws set forth by God before the,''beginning,'' come into play for a specific reason by God's own will for them to do so.

And as the universe goes too, that is God's creation, there are certainly many things that mankind still does not know about it with very much detail.

However as that may be though, what would be the purpose of other orginized types of life forms, extra-terrestrials if you will, from the cosmos visiting our own earth and mostly operating around and on our planet in a covert manner?

These who purportedly carry out clandestine operations of some sort periodically around planet earth?

To glorify God?

The Bible does speak of such a one that It designates as, ''the prince of the power of the air," which is Satan, and also his demonic host who at this time have that capability and authority, by man, in order to operate in the heavens, or the atmospere, around the world, as they have been doing for quite some time now as the Bible says that they have.

Now,do these fallen creatures have any simularity to the images and so-called bonified photographs, folklore,myths, and detailed images that are shown about them now, mostly through our own media that are available to us by the click of a remote control for entertainment purposes in conjunction as to what demonic entities possibly look like now as opposed to what extra-terrestrial creatures might look like?

I remember one time in my earlier christian walk when i did a job for a man that had a more or less notorious reputation as a fairly evil person.

His own mother, in her seventies at the time, who was an entrepreneur of sorts, had several businesses around this particular area also being the mayor of the little township that i lived in,and also her son was the town marshal as well as holding several other civic titles around those parts.

His mother owned a fleet of logging trucks and hired them out to many unsuspecting haulers, most of them new to the area, and would through deceptive means methodically flim-flam these men out of thousands of dollars in pay that she would owe them.

Her and her son were also instumental in getting the county in which they seemed to have great influence in to become,''wet,'' as it had never been that way before and then opened up several bars and package stores which also cashed payroll checks and fronted payday loans,mostly on the county lines with adjoining dry counties in the area,.

These eventually causing many problems all around with a sharp rise in violent crimes, prostitution, illegal gambling,and drugs much of these happening within close proximity of these so called legal establishments

I'm sure you get the picture here.

As it ended up though, this woman several years latter was murdered in her own home, violently beaten to death as it appeared that her assailant,or assailants, most likley wanted her to suffer before she finally died.

I heard several years latter also, because i was not living in this particular area anymore myself ,that her son, this man who i had breifly worked for at one time had commited suicide with his own gun and was dead also.

Unfortunate for both indeed.

But back at the time that i was doing some remodling in this man's home, one day i was sanding off some rust build-up that had acummulated on some metal support posts with a grinder. I had been there for about three hours as i started work around seven and it was then around ten in the morning.

As i was grinding these metal posts though, periodically out of the corner of my eye several feet away directly where the sparks from the ,''rooster tail,''was fanning off in an arc, i kept seeing a darkish brown object near one of this man's vehicles which was covered by a cloth tarp under this large carport where i was working.

But every time that i stopped the grinder to try and get a better look because after noticing this object several times as being there,and then not being there, i started to believe that what i was seeing was some sort of wild or stray animal because i was out in the country, but having been operating a power tool that made quite a bit of noise, smoke, and throwing a trail of sparks, this logic didn't make much sense to me.

As i continued to work though, i begain to look over in this direction that i had seen this object before but now not turning off the grinder to look directly at the thing.

And there was someting there all right, but not as a person would see something in a physical way but it was however there all the same.

To me, this creature now more visible to me as i pretended not to notice it was as i said before was of a darkish brown color, about three feet high, and had the facial and bodily charictaristics of,more or less, what someone might think an ugly monkey might look like.

Now i know that some of you might think that this account that i am giving now is just a ghost story or just plain telling a lie,but this event was very real to me as being a christian,this encounter with a super-natural being really disturbed me as to where i almost didn't finish the job that i had agreed to do for this man as i had promised.

Several days after this occurrance too in a time of meditation after a Bible study with some christian friends at their home and after prayer but not about my encounter, as we all where about to leave this house it is as if i saw within my own spirit, through spritual eyes and not with the physical ones that i had seen this being with, the thing now with much more detail as i had not seen it that day.

This being, or what i now believe to have been a demonic visitation was one as i saw it in the spiritual realm as one who was intentionally stationed close to me in order to keep an eye, so to speak , on me, as i worked around this man's home.

A guard of sorts i suppose.

Now, is it possible that this so-called encounter that i say that i had with a demon in my close proximity at this man's home been imagined by me as the result of something like the heat or from breathing in too much metalic and paint dust?

Well i suppose that could be the cause of all of this but i'll tell you that the fear that welled up inside of me as i finally got a decent look at it and the hair standing up on the back of my neck at the time says no.

So are all demons, that is if i really saw a real one and they are real,are short and fairly grotesque looking as a rule?

However which way that it goes about that though, is that could one of these appear to a person to be of the extra-terrrestreal persuasion under certain circumstances?

I missed this when I started new thread. my best friends brother in law is a fan of the aching aliens thing. We put out our point of view but I can't make someone believe if they don't want to. If my vote counts at all I think if aliens are real at all its demons corrupting the weak and pulling people it with the help of main stream media

I don’t speak for everyone but I don’t think that anyone is saying that every light in the sky is demonic in nature. There are such things as ball lighting, military aircraft, weather balloons and kids with camcorders and aluminum pie plates.

However, there are people who place their hope in little green men because they don’t like the message of Jesus Christ….In that case I don’t think demonic forces would even be required to cause them to see things….random clouds would suffice or even those crude videos of aluminum pie plates

In today’s culture it’s ok to believe in just about any man made religious and supernatural theory out there…but don’t dare believe in the absolute claims of Jesus Christ.

Jesus probes the Heart…..and that’s far less acceptable to sinful men than Aliens who probe the anus.

Are you being sarcastic? I suppose this is poe's law at work. You see, the fact that aliens offer "cheap and easy hope" is exactly applicable to religion. And yes, it is OK to believe in any man made religion... like christianity. Who says don't believe the claims of Jesus? Lots of americans believe the claims of jesus. As for "we will believe anything that lets us keep our sinful hearts and rebellion intact", yes, we will. Christianity offers a way for us to feel like we didn't do anything wrong, because Jesus forgives us for whatever we've done.

There was a heavy dose of sarcasm involved.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the polar opposite of every single man made religion in both nature and message.
I struggle to understand “Christians” that read the message of Jesus than feel like its necessary to mix in a little Alien silliness or other such nonsense because culture demands it.
There is nothing wrong with applying the Scripture to Culture but I don’t believe in applying the culture to Scriptures.
The folks that reject the Bible frustrate me far less than the folks that read the Bible and then add the future hope of green men to the Cross of Jesus.

Please don’t take my smart mouth for the truth….check out the Gospel of John and see just why there is no need for little green men to come and save us.
