 Dehumidifier doesn't.

LG dehumidifier, purchased somewhere in 2008-2010. It worked fine last year but now, no bueno. I cleaned the filter. The top row of the "coil" ices over and defrosts in ~15 second cycles. It does not remove the humidity.

Is low refrigerant the likely suspect?

It has a 5 year warranty but damned if I can find the receipt.

Yup, its toast.

We bought a Kennmore last year and it is great and doing better than the TWO dehumidifiers we had running previously.

Not really worth it.

We bought a top of the line and it was sub $300.

Having one fixed and recharged is going to be pricy.
