Old calcium chloride tank to water trees
I bought a trailer at an auction that had a 275 gallon tote tank on it. They used it to water trees and that is what I planned on doing. I got it home and found the tank had a bunch of cracks in it. (No big deal since I only paid $17 for the whole deal). I bought another tote today and it was used for calcium chloride. The label says it's environmentally safe, but I've heard it's bad for young trees especially evergreens. So my question is... If I just quickly rinse it can I use it tonight, or does it have to been thoroughly cleaned first? Thanks for any advice!
