I'm sure that keeps hangar rash from happening much which is an excellent idea.
Edit: In our hangar in Atlanta we are constantly moving commercial aircraft. It takes several people to properly move an aircraft and sometimes we try our hardest to pack them in. Adding winglets to our aircraft has made it more difficult to stack them inside.
