The Marines I've spoken with say it scares the shit outta them the first time, but they love how fast the bird can get in and out.
Like all new airframes, it's gonna have growing pains until it matures and unfortunately those pains can have fatal results.

Kinda makes you wonder if the Osprey will follow the same development route as helicopters did... from transport to funship
