Appears to be a long-stroke piston configuration. The bolt is a piston bolt, not profiled correctly for DI, and if you look at the previous photo, there are bolt carriers with attached pistons and charging handles on the table.

Reciprocating charging handle with piston connected? That would be painful to shoot.

loving the bike lock on the mini-gun. For effect they should have just gone to walmart and picked up a Club.

It looks to me like it passes through the hole in the charging handle just like a normal gas tube.

Who is Silencer Co? They look cool.

If they're good, it will be nice to have an alternative to AAC/Cerberus after the whole ACR flip flop fiasco.

Silencer Co is one of the the two manufacturers that makes hearing safe .45acp suppressors and they also make the only .45acp suppressors that does not obscure sight pictures

No doubt the best and worst will be at MagPul's booth.
Best because they always come out with some of the most innovative and down right awesome toys.
Worst because some of what they come out with is a complete cock tease (FMG9 or PDR). I'm still crying about those...

Now that is interesting! Looks like an ACR upper strapped to a standard lower.

WOW !!!

Yeah, that is what us lowly AR15 owners will be able to afford since the ACR is now $2500+

Remington can keep those uppers as far as I'm concerned.

The RGP upper is not the standard Short Stroke like the HK 416, LWRC POF or Adams ams, etc. they took a different direction and went with a mid length gas piston design as opposed to the PWS Long stroke and he other short stroke pistons. Spent some time with Greg Baradat, the production eam leader this after noon. Its a nice departure from the ordinary.

Greg said the RGP'sbarrel is held in place by 4 allen bolts so it should be easy to change.

Dillon Aero on the mini-gun I would imagine. Looks like their work anyways! Hey, care to stop by Hornady's booth and see if there is a 13" tall cherry A-Max kicking around? Part of my insertion team got one to one of the right people there! www.woodenammo.com is the stuff. Hoping to maybe go to SHOT next year with my lineup. Thanks for all the pix!! That S&W 380 backup gun is SWEET!! The New Rem piston gun is sexy too.

so a mid-length like the newest LWRC M6A3? if so, it should be as smooth shooting as the A3. good to see other piston designs using the middy approach.
