So is Glock there with any new Gen 4's? G19 perhaps?
If so pics please!
I held the G19 in my hand. I didn't take any pics.
I don't like Glocks and this one didn't change my mind.
Obviously YMMV

No pics but....... The new Glock I saw (G17) will say gen 4 on the slide by the model designation, it had an all metal recoil assembly that was dual spring like the compact models, and had interchangeable back straps.
The only new Glock that I want is a single stack 9mm!

Tell me about it! I've been wanting to ditch my PM-9 for years!
I saw a Gen 4 Glock 17 & G22 as well as a RTF Glock 19.
I liked the RTF frame, but not the goofy slide serrations,

Walter PPS.
Was told Gen 4 G19's should be coming around summer, but it could end up being sooner or later then that.

My sources in GLOCK tell me that they should be hitting the LEO Market by April for the Gen 4 19.

I was with Mas at the Glock booth and got to fondle everything but the babes. I love the Gen 4 and will get a G17 as soon as I get the military discount. I like the serrations, the grip angle, the grip strap. I will replace the sights with the Advantage Tactical yello and orange combo and rock out.

I doesn't look like they improved the trigger guard. Never did understand that pointy thingy on the lower front of the guard, nor the fact that for me, there needs to be more space between the bottom of the trigger and the guard itself. I still want one.

On the trigger guard, I commented to the Glock folks, Dremel is my friend. The regular guys arounf me laughed, the GlockWorkers didn't. But, it's da troof.

Just makes it easier to press against an object/wall for stability.
All I can say is the mag release on the Gen 14 is a HUGE improvement over the original. I held it in my hands again and again and then would walk over and toy with a standard G19. The button feelings at least twice as big, and instead of having to push it straight down, it feels like its kind of on a pivot and pushes down much smoother and easier. I love it. The back straps are nice to. My only complaint is the fact that they stamp "Gen 4" on the side of the slide right behind "G17, G19. etc". You can easily tell what model it is by the mag release, grip, and back straps, no need to stamp the darn thing.

Real answer.... April 2010 for the Gen 4 GLOCK 19.
I currently have had a Gen 4 GLOCK 22 since the end of December and a Gen 4 17 since January 10th.
It's nice being friendly with the GLOCK folks and also having the largest LEO GLOCK Dealer in Florida less then three minutes from my house.
They have some really nice photos of it over on M4carbine, The "other" site.

Thx
It looks like that stippling could grind your hands into hamburger during a long gun class.

Is there a new G26/7 coming out as well?
I see both a Gen 4 Glock-17 and Glock-19 in the near future!!
Did they mention anything about a Gen 4 for the Glock 30?
