Ok my wife has finished her first novel and we are trying to get it converted for the nook and kindle so she can put it up for sale. Do any of you know how to do this and can give me a turtorial or someing. That would be great thanks. We are trying this calibre program with poor results so far. Thanks for any help

Click "add books" in Calibre, then click on the book, change output to whatever format you want, and click convert. All there is to it.

Another place to sell is Smashwords not sure how good of a place it is I've been told if you promote it yourself it works.

I'm in the same boat as your wife working on a few novels and short stories and e-books look to be the best way to get work out there. If you are a first time author pricing is key to selling and read the details to the price and what you will make off of one book sold.
