a local shelter or rescue could really use some donations. The rescue where I picked up my little Myrtle from has the wish lists that they put out at several restaurants (on their Christmas trees). You can check with your local shelter or rescue and give some things they need. Here's Myrtle with the things were sending:

Canned dog food
peanut butter
Treats and rawhides
laundry soap
bleach
paper towels
gift card

I rescued the little possum about a year ago, now we make food donations to them to help them out.
