Depends on the age group and probably also depends on the geographic location. Supposedly far more common in the 20ish crowd that the married 40 year old wife group.

An increase in anal sex participation would mean more HIV infection amongst heterosexuals?
I would guess that the traditional stereotype of "typical" HIV would involve homosexuals and IV drug users.
