I wake up from going under hungry, had my left knee done in '06, had to argue with the nurse for a damn ham sandwich!

They had me do that in 94 for my ACL repair. It might have been a x and a O though. You would think the Betadine stain would have been clear as to what knee they should operate on

Had both knees and both hips replaced in the past 6 years, same doc (Dr. John "Bo" Mason) in Charlotte did all 4 of them. It all started with a woman driver and a 3 car pile up, during Monday morning rush hour in Atlanta. For all 4 replacements they had me mark which knee or hip it was, when doc did the last one, the left hip, i but some dotted lines and wrote "cut here", when I was out of recovery and moved to the room, my wife started laughing and went and got a mirror so I could see the stitches etc and right next to it he wrote "complete" and signed his name!!! Great guy and excellent surgeon!!! So now I got 22 lbs of titanium, and chromium cobalt in me.

was the tear on the inside or outside of the meniscus?

I had a tear on the inside of the meniscus so they went in laproscopicly (sp?) and cut out the torn bit. It's been a year. I was on profile for three months, did Physical Therapy for a month and they said I was good to go.

the knee still feels... loose... for lack of better terminology.
