Saber Red OC sucks

Going through CERT right now and just got sprayed with Saber Red about 3 hours ago and my entire face feels like I got a 3rd degree burn (and my ears hurt more then anything else).

I remember how much it sucked getting OC'd during POST, but the stuff we used was about half as powerful as Saber Red. Saber Red being about 2 million Scoville Heat Units, as well as having a chemical that will open up all of your pores. They gave

They gave me three-1 second sprays and omg I was not prepared for that. They had several officers setup so that we could perform 2 minutes worth of strikes, then we had to perform a takedown and arrest. It was nearly impossible to keep my eyes open and

the burning was very intense. After completing the course it took 1 hour of pacing around before I could even open my eyes and keep them open without using my hands. Still not sure why running helps, but that seems to be the best way to get your

eyes open and dried out.

I really wish I had a video of the whole experience, because that was the most sucktastic few hours of my life.

Being OC'd is never fun, I hope I never have to go through it again, they used with freeze+p when I did it. I carry Sabre Red in Gel form so I am glad to hear it works.

Sabre Red is square business.

we went from that to some lvl2 stuff by cts. i am told it makes sabre look like a fresh summer breeze. as i was not certified i had to get sprayed with the new shit. my head looked like a tomato for 2 days and the skin peeled. i will shoot a mother fucker that comes close to me with pepper spray again. no questions asked, no mercy, i will shoot that sum bitch right in the face.

I was told sabre red was the strongest stuff allowed for use by law enforcement right now. I don't think I could stand anything stronger then what I had today

Had a bunch of former mil with me today who said that sabre red makes the gas chambers at basic look like a cake walk.

There is literally no comparison.

Old school bossmen that are nearly immune to our old stuff will stop short of responding
to an incident until the get masks. Sabre is fucking brutal.

I'm the primary CHEMO for our shift, and I routinely pull out the Sabre Red cannisters
and issue it out on a first come/first serve basis. Otherwise, there are hurt feelings.

gas chamber wasn't that bad the 2nd time. even less so after that. this shit they sprayed me with was satan in a can.

this stuff is 1.33% looks like its the same as sabre red. that shit is brutal. the cts we have doesn't smell and only affects whoever you hit with it. no odor or vapor to stink up the car. to say i hate this shit is an understatement. i feel your pain.

I got a good dose of Sabre Red during the Academy, and had to effect an arrest under the effects, to boot. Fucking hate that stuff. If ever there was a time my head was full of fuck...

Sabre Red hurts like no other. I also was sprayed in the acadamy and swore I'd never be sprayed again. 5 palm strikes, 5 knee spears, effect an arrest, seatbelt "subject" into patrol car, go to driver side and radio for assistance.

Sabre Red is good stuff as well as Fox Labs. I partially sprayed myself rolling w/ a prisoner, took my breath away.

Fox is as bad if not worse.....

Yea it reactivated twice on me today, once in the shower and once on my drive home (that got a bit hairy).

wash your hair in the sink a few times first. then stand head in front of you in the shower. that shit on your junk is not as fun as it sounds.

That was one of the easiest ways to get people in the shower at the jail. Once they start getting stupid in the changing room, educate them on how spray works, that it WILL hit the junk, and they will never be the same again. Lots of people stopped wanting to fight right about then

It's funny you mentioned the showers. It's the dumbest thing I did at the Academy. Ever do something out of sheer habit without thinking about it? Happened to me.

After getting OCed, naturally showers were the order of the day. I was very cautious in trying to wash all of that stuff off without it seeping into anything "critical". I was equally careful drying off too. Like an idiot, I took that same towel and threw it around my waist. Only recently have I been able to laugh at myself over it...

We didn't get Saber Red, but whatever we had was enough for me. If anybody ever comes at me with a can of that shit I will most likely shoot them, because I could not open my eyes until I had stood in the shower for a good 25 minutes fully clothed just letting the water wash it off my face.

We've got Saber Defense (which I assume is the same company) manufactured in our area. I spent 4 years at our academy as an instructor; they required that we be "exposed" at least once a year. It sucked. I've only been exposed as close to as often via cross exposure by over exuberant officers trying to get the "juice" in.
