How early from ETS do I come back from being deployed?

Since extending through your deployment is now voluntary I was tracking that they have to send you back 90 days prior to your ETS date. While discussing Ops today a Capt. told me it's 60 days now after I mentioned I'll have to be sent back early. Can anyone give me a solid answer on this? Anyone know how terminal leave gets worked in? I'm hoping to hit the ground running as soon as I get CONUS with clearing and what not.

I'm hoping it's still 90 days out. I've already told my next employer a date when I'll be ready to start training.

What branch?

I don't know the answer for 60 or 90, I do know you can't begin a new job until your ETS passes without approval.

LMK what branch and if Army I'll get you the answer and sources for that and the job thing.

I went through this earlier this year. Terminal leave does not add onto the 90 days. If there's been a change, I'd like to see someone find it. Good luck.

90 days before your ETS date you will be sent home. My unit just came home from Afghanistan and we had some guys leave even earlier, but the minimum is 90 days.
