There will be three of us. I want to be able to get three cots, and all of our gear inside.
I'm not looking to spend more than $250.
Anyone have any tents they can recommend?
Thanks
Here is an excellent
Tent. It's slightly above what you want to spend, but it's well worth the extra money. I spent 3 months in the 8 man version of tent while in Southern Afghanistan on a contract. I needed something that was spacious for all of my gear and that would hold up to the harsh winds and sandstorms. This tent was great. It's the last tent you will ever need to buy.
Take a look at this
Tent I had one that was destroyed in Hurricane Rita, found it on sell here and bought another one. Huge thing.

I have been dying to get the 6 man for family trips to colorado with the kids. Stayed in a lesser tent last time and all are stuff got wet in a big storm. The free cot would be nice.

That tent is built like a fortress. You will not get wet in it. I had the version with the aluminium poles and I think it would take a tornado to blow it over. There used to be a video of a jet engine blowing on the tent, not sure if it's on the Cabella site any more though.
My wife and I have been tent camping for 15 years. Our 5 year old 'Cabela's Alaskan Guide' tent is simply the best. It will stand up in winds that will blow many others down the road and you will stay dry in this tent. It is well made and when ours wears out, whenever that will be, we will certainly get another one.
