charelston redfish!

Summer time photo of a good friend (capt. mark) on my boat. Pretty good for his first redfish. Picked him up after i ran a charter that day, caught a live well full of menhaden in one cast and were on the reds within 30 minutes. Charleston harbor.

figured i would add one more! late august the jacks turn on heavy. same super secret spot, current running the other way. (anyone from charleston can probably recognize the background). anyhow, me bud steve took 45 minutes to land this monster. two other guys on the boat drank 4 beers and smoked 2 cigs cheering him on. pretty fish, lot of color. catch and release!

Those thing are like fighting a Minn Kota on full throttle. My biggest is 31 lbs. Nice fishies
