Jekyll Island bull redfish from the surf.

I caught this 41" bull red while surf fishing on Jekyll Island Ga. It ate the head half of an 8" mullet. The fish was released after a few quick pix.

I'm definitely a catch and release fisherman but even if I wanted to keep it Georgia has a slot limit on reds. You can only keep them between 14 & 23 inches.

South Carolina has similar regulations as Georgia in regards to redfish. 15-23 inches here.
