Any spinning reels made in the USA?
I'm not really much of a fisherman, but my dad is, and I'm trying to find him a good spinning reel for river/lake fishing (mostly red-eye, small and large mouth bass), and I wanted to get something that was pretty high quality, and I'm a stickler for buying American if possible. If not, can someone tell me what a good, quality reel is?

Penn are made in Philly. They are very good quality. Shimano are not made in USA, but are great reels. They are smooth as silk, strong and last forever if you take care of them. Penn has a great reputation too, but 've never personally owned a Penn spinning reel.
