Old Pal minnow buckets
Anyone know if they make them anymore or where to find them?
thanks
Are you speaking of the old galvanized steel buckets with the liner? If so, I haven't seen them around for a while. FWIW, I use a 24-can plastic cooler foir my minnow bucket. I feel that its way better than anything I have ever used before. It actually keeps the fish alive longer because the water does not heat up as quickly. When I am icefishing the cooler does not freeze inside.
Yeah galvanized buckets
I haven't seen any besides the one I have in years.
Found some on EBAY
I have one. And no it's not for sale. Try antique shops or flea markets. I have seen a couple here and there.
I like them and think they're cool.. but years of experience on the Texas coast trying to keep shrimp alive in 100 degree weather says that a proper aerator in the right size ice chest works best.
They can still be found, you just have to really look for them.
ETA: I don't think you can find new ones by Old Pal, but Frabill makes them.
