Any of you guys jug or limb line? we our in the northwest corner for AR. the water is in the mid 60's right now. we have gone out two times and put out 30 lines each time. used live bait, stink bait, and chicken livers. out of those two times we only had one small catfish. Any ideas or tips? the years before we always got a hand full off less lines then that. maybe still to cool?

Right now in Missouri we can catch them. What kind of live bait are you talking about? Little bluegills or sunfish work great.

I have reached the spot where about all I do is a little crappie fishing in the spring, the rest of the time is spent jug fishing for cats. I fish the Tenn-Tom waterway in MS&AL.I have probably 200 jugs all dif depts and sizes and hooks 2/0 to 7/0. The very best bait is fresh cut skipjack but I have to drive about 130 miles to catch them in any number. Just started a topic in fresh water wanting someone's recipe for maybe a dough bait or something, but nothing about leaving deermeat in the sun for 3/4 days, I'd just start playing golf or something.
