Sunrise/Sunset Times App for Smart Phone or Tablet
I loaded the Sundroid app for my Galaxy tablet, so now I don't have to look at the chart in the regs book, then calculate. Pretty handy, and if you have a smart phone, you have it right there with you.
LunaFaqt is a similar free app for Android phones
Intellicast.com I bookmarked it on my iPhone.
Weather. Sunrise. Sunset. Moon Phazes. Moon Rise and Set. Wind Direction.
Type in the closest area code to your hunting area.
Helps me with the decisions I need to make when choosing stand locations.

Skyclock lite for iPhone is functional, shows bmnt-eent etc.
I'll have to check out the others posted here. Thanks.
I'm looking forward to using my tablet in the stand during afternoon hunts, but not in the morning before light, for obvious reasons.

This sounds like a good one, thanks.

You're welcome.
One of the best things is that this information is all on one page. Sure, you have to click on the day you want the info on, but once there... there's no "click here for sunrise/set" type stuff. Wind. Temp.... everything on one page. Makes it nicer for the cell phone user, IMO.
They must be getting popular though, because my windows laptop has to block pop-ups now... that's a big reason I stopped visiting weather.com.
Another one that I need to check out is the "Cabela's Recon Hunter" app for the iPhone. I searched it yesterday and it has satelite maps, game tracking stuff, and a bunch of things that would be useful to a hunter. $5 I think.
They claim it can work without cell coverage, but I didn't look into it any further.
You may check for an app for your Game and Fish Commission.
We have one here in Arkansas and it has all kinds of stuff such as season dates and bag limits, sunrise and sunset,
and you can even check in your deer by the app.
you may like the iSolunar app.

I use this and "Hunting Calendar"
I grabbed GPS Essentials for my Droid2. I have date, time, LAT, LON, sunrise, sunset, moon phase, and altitude on the dashboard. I haven't fully explored it to see what else may be useful. So far, it's been handy and free.
Enjoy,

Nice app! Thanks!
I sprung for the Cabellas app but have not been in the woods yet.
I like it so far.
I'm a weather geek and have most of the good apps on my phone anyways but this gets it in one place.
