Anyone ever seen an off color turkey. I have one around that is very light tan or straw colored where light would be on a normal turkey this one is bright white.
2 years ago shed hunting on a friends farm seen one that was almost all white with some black.
What do you think rare not so rare?

first off.. i thought we were talking about the bourbon/whiskey.. Typically white turkeys are domesticated or a domesticated blend i believe.

A sport, a hybrid or a leucistic, albino, melanistic, xanthocristic or erythrisctic specimen.
Leucism is not uncommon in birds.

Yeah, I had to check the forum I was in as well.

And here I was, ready to say that your whiskey was no good and to tend it to me for proper disposal. Here we've had several cases of domestic turkeys getting loose and flocking up.
