Which is your favorite setup for both and why. Sure I know you probably want different loads and chokes, but does anyone use a different rig for these two?

I suggest:

Geese - 10 ga with 30 or 32 inch barrel with full choke, 3.5 inch chamber

Turkey - 12 ga with XXX Full turkey choke, minimum 3 inch chamber

The 12 will work for both, however, with some limitations possible.

I have a Browning BPS 10ga, that I use for both. Seems to do pretty well.

I use a 10 gauge Browning gold for both. I use the supplied chokes for steel and when I bought it they threw in a turkey choke. I like the shorter barreled guns because they seem to swing better for me and I worked at Federal cartridge for 3 years. All shotgun shells are made to be at max burn at 19 inches. Anything beyond that is extra. I know some prefer the longer barrels for shooting, but I like short, besides, I have a holosight on mine that works fine for birds so I don't use the hiviz sights on the gun.
