December Pheasant hunt in eastern SD - need advice on location
So, we have a game plan - 3 people and a trained dog - go to Waterman, SD, and hunt on the weekend of Dec 10th in that area
I see lots of public shooting lands around that area and hunting atlas 2011 shows it in the thick of bird population area.
how much snow usually that area gets in early December? should we pick a place more to the south instead?
We need pointers about locations to hunt in that area
I was thinking about Lake Byron?
good, bad? other suggestions?
