 Which Snake Boots for hog hunting all year round?

never really had to worry about snakes while hunting before.

now getting geared up for night time summer fun, snakes will be a problem.

what about socks or tuck in the pants leg?

You might consider snake bite gaiters rather than boots. Cheaper and can be removed when not needed.

If you want some good snake boots then Chippewa are THE snake boots. Gaiters are a pain in the ass.

The cheaper ones leak when in water..rocky lynx ? the ones that tie and zip are pretty cool, mine are on there way to there 4th summer.

I want to look into the ones ponyboy said or danner next.

Go ahead and spend the money, you'll have them for a life time. They are excellent quality and comfortable.

A "must have" in South Texas and certain other places.

Agreed, "gaiters" are a PITA unless you just plan to go on a quail hunt once a year.
