Saw this early playing around thought it was pretty cool. Apparently they built their own uav fitted with thermal to find hogs. Pretty cool.

Imagine how much he invested in that operation.

Now imagine a malfunction causes it to hit the ground at terminal velocity.

That's a hit to the pocket book i wouldn't want to take just to shoot some hogs.(unless of course i was getting paid to shoot them hogs...)

I think these folks are on this board with us..Sounds like the people I talked to, I gave this project my blessings from the start.

They been working on it for a while and its top notch gear for a hog control service.

I hope it goes well and love the projects name !!!!

You inspired the name Dehogaflier :)

"Imagine how much he invested in that operation.

I was more than a little nervous launching it the first time around I can assure you. It was expensive in both time and money to build. But oh so worth it.

When uprighting a rolled vehicle, attach the winch to the top of the rollcage on the low side and run it over the top.

Most info is here
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1478852
Aircraft and most electronics from www.hobbyking.com
Video Transmitter equipment and OSD/Autopilot from here www.rangevideo.com
Thermal camera from FLIR. I think oemcameras.com sells them now.

Building one of these is not for the feint of heart. the FPV forum at RCgroups has lots of info on how to do it etc but it is a big expensive hobby on top of a big expensive hobby.
