Email from Magpul about Maglink shipping, yet can't order directly yet?

I have been patiently waiting to order one of these since our Department went to Magpul mags exclusively. So I get an email today saying Maglinks are being shipped to vendors, and it is available!
So I figure, hotdog! I am going to go to Magpul's website and order one. I am disappoint.... 
So you are shipping them out to vendors, yet you still cannot order directly from the manufacturer? I think the marketing department needs to get their shit together. I am a huge fan of Magpul products, but quit teasing the consumer...

Well, I guess I should just shut up about it. I ordered one from Brownells, and got a LEO discount. And I bought a couple more P-Mags. I got over it...

They want to get them out to the distributors that have a broad reach and have already ordered the product.
I'd say thats pretty good marketing.
Why dont you.........do the simple thing...........and order from one of the numerous distributors that are going to have the product shortly?
I swear, with as much access that we are LUCKY to have in this industry, people sure do choose to bitch and moan about VERY petty stuff.
