Index Clip Individual Pieces?
I know this might not be feasible, and maybe not a worth it on the business side, but has it been considered to offer the index clips in a mix and match type setup?
like right now, all I'm looking for is a couple of the index clips in black to stow some wires, but the 72 piece set, is about, oh probably 65 pieces too many...
72 pieces cost $30, so roughly $0.42 each. now keep the set as an option, which saves money for a "bulk buy" set. but maybe offer the others individually for like $.50 for regular and $.75 for the lower hooks and top keepers. maybe even a $5 minimum order to avoid multiple $.50 orders (unless ordering other items too?)
then go through a drop down menu and be like for example i need 12 plain, 4 lower hooks, and 4 top keepers so total would be $12.00 total....
like right now, I'm only looking for like 5 lower and 5 top which would run $7.50 but since I'm going to order a harris bipod too, then there would be no minimum for the clips, if say i only needed like that one or two more hooks cause i ran out, or broke some, etc...
Just throwing out there, as its something I'm dealing with right now...
Seems like a good idea to me.
In the mean time I'm sure if you asked there are people here who would gladly ship you the couple clips you need.
i was gonna go place a thread in the wtb as i didn't wanna do so in the industry thread.... but I'm still interested in what LT thinks....
but if anyone is reading hit me up pm, need to fix this mess on my patrol rifle due to new SR-d-it switch. i have two LT packages en route (ones sitting on my desk at PD and other is going to be placed today) so I'm sure theres some shwag to trade or i has monies....

Send me your address and what you need, I got you covered
IM SENT!!! thats why i love arfcom guys. and especially those that troll the larue threads, i think LT brings about good people based on wanting to be around LT's values!!!!
oh, and in those drop down tabs i mentioned above, would also be a color option, so you can mix and match as you please...
I was gonna say if nobody took care of ya to IM me what ya need, but I see my friend already got ya.
Good stuff Jesse!

I think your SPR-e is backwards.

Definitely backwards. Is there a reason?
yes it is. I did so to give me the eye relief I needed with stock extended while accommodating surefire rts.

Just my opinion, but I think this statement is accurate. Your idea would take a lot of work to setup and pick/ship orders just to satisfy a handful of customers who want to place a small order for a few clips. If I were in charge at Larue, I don't think I would bother. It's just too much work to get a few $5 orders when you're selling $150+ mounts and $2,000 rifles as fast as you can make them.
It might be more feasible to offer a 1/2 size pack of index clips for maybe $15 to catch the smaller orders, instead of allowing substitutions and customizations. JMHO though.

I think this idea would be easier to implement...
