I have been told that the Bushmaster factory making the ACR will shut down and production of the ACR will move to Remington. Do you guys think I should put off to see Remington or get the Bushmaster one now?
Sounds like bushmaster would be more collectable

ACR was never built in Maine to begin with from what I understand.. So the ACR production shouldnt be affected by them closing down..
Bushmaster will continue to be the sole manufacturer of the civilian ACR (according to what people have been told at the shot show)
Wait a little bit longer til the barrel options are available. Most of the outer hardware components are good to go now.
Most of the T&E kinks seems to have been brought to BM's attention and worked out.

That, I dont know.
But if I were a betting man, I would guess most parts are made wherever Remington makes theirs... the rest probably comes straight from Magpul..
They might have been
assembled in Windham, ME.. but even if they were, moving the assembly location for a rifle like the ACR should be an easy thing to do.. (hell, all you would need is a couple of allen wrenches and range to testfire it

)
That is my understanding anyway, based on what i have read on different boards, and from what BM's CS have said.. but as always, Advice/info found on the internet is worth what you payed for it..
ETA: OP, as far waiting, if that is your only concern, Remington supposedly said (at shot show today) that they will never release a civvi ACR..
The only thing I would consider, would be that
maybe the price could drop a bit more.. but even if it does the wait wouldnt be worth it to me... I say buy it now (find a good deal on a site like GB) and shoot the S%^t out of it while you wait for the conversion kits to come out...

Get one now why wait ? They've dropped 50.00 since I bought mine but I don't care.
www.jetguns.com is selling the enhanced for $1830 ish.... no cc fees etc. That is a pretty sweet deal.
I'm gonna wait until ACRs have the readily available option of shorter barrels.
I just bought an FDE enhanced for $1820 NIB. The price is where is should be.
