Do your barrels come threaded for the flash hider from FN, or is that a step that you guys do? If they are threaded from FN, what thread type are they? if you thread them, would it be possible to order a complete upper with one that has not been threaded? I'm building one that will utilize a thread-on can and would like to get the threads cut once I get the silencer. Thanks for any help.

We do not offer a non-threaded barrel at this time, but we do have plans in the works. Our 5.56 barrels come with 1/2-28 threads, our 6.8, & 300 AAC Blackout barrels come with a 5/8-24 thread.

Be advised, modifying the barrel from its original ship state will void the warranty.

Thanks for the quick response. Any time frame on the unthreaded barrels? Is there any possibility of having one shipped without a flash hider but perhaps a thread protector? 1/2-28 is the thread type I need.

Bare barrels usually come wrapped in protective paper or in a bag, Hammer forged come with a plastic cap on the threads.

I'm looking at a 16" hammer forged upper specifically the "PSA 16'' Hammer-forged CMV Mid-length Stripped Railed Upper", and obviously my concern would be baffle strikes with the can. Are the threads on these barrels concentric to the bore? Thanks again for your patience with all the questions.
