10/22 25-round magazines failure to feed -- Am I the only one?

Finding nothing in the archives or active messages, I'll post this here. Bought six BDM 25-round 10/22 mags over the winter, and tried to give them their first workout yesterday, with repeated failures to feed on all mags (but rifle runs fine with standard Ruger rotary mags).

It appears that at least part of the problem may be that small "plateau" on the rear of the right feed lip. That's not present on the standard Ruger rotary mags (where the right feed lip is flush front to back), and I think it's interfering with the bolt coming forward and picking up the next round. I thought I'd look for any feed back here before I get out my Exacto knife and trim off that plateau.

I know many of us had to do some "surgery" on our first generation BDM .22 mags for the AR conversion kits, but that information was fairly widely disseminated. I'm not finding anything like that for these 10/22 mags.

I just posted about mine, sucks. High angle feed jams every 2-3 rounds. The follower also binds every third loading or so and will only hold 8-9 rounds.
