I just picked up a GSG1911 an an inexpensive practice alternative
I would like to make it as close to my other 1911s as possibloe
All of my guns carry NS
Will normal 1911 NS fit the GSG?

Despite the email response from ATI stating that Novak cut night sites would work, the rear cut is smaller than a novak cut
If you plan on changing out sites, it is likely to require gunsmith work

Ive read that 1911 parts need minor fitting. This being said, the only 1911 I own is this GSG 1911. Although it is not a true 1911 in my mind, every part I added to it so far did require minor fitting.

I too would like to add a set of metal sights to mine, but am waiting for someone to recommend one that requires the least amount of fitting possible.

My gunsmith charged me $20 to install the rear site (I wanted to play with the front to determine the correct one to go with the lower rear) and remove the magazine safety disconnect
Couldnt have been too labor intensive
I have a wilson combat rear which Wilson Combat has on clearance right now at their online store

Havent figured out correct front yet

HOLY MOLLY DOUGHNUT SHOP! I think ill live with my factory plastic sights..

My factory sights suck! The #2 sight has a POI about 2" high and the #3 sight has a POI 3# low. I need a #2.5 sight!
