KAC 308 magazines
Best deal out there?
LMT use to sell KAC magazines at a discount price, but they are no longer listed on LMT site.
Or available as "LMT" magazines from any vendor I can find.
Any input? I need nine of them for my mk 11 em rifle project.
Why not use PMAGS???
Mostly cosmetic reasons.
I got a half dozen pmags, but want some more KAC mags.

It may just be me but I've noticed 4 of the 10 pmags I bought don't always run reliably, 6 are good to go and my KAC mag has also been problem free.

So far the 308 PMAGs I have run okay, but definitely didn't run them hard in any way. What issue did you have with your 4 bad ones?
FTF if they were loaded with all 20, had to back them off to 19 and in one case 18 to feed reliably.

I hope SR-25s don't have issues with PMAGS
We used them in the M-110s and my LMT with no issues
Maybe your 4 were bad, Magpul will exchange them.

Did your pmags drop free? The two that Ive tried in my sr25 ran flawlessly, but did not drop free.
All 15 of my PMAGS drop free loaded and empty, and the only issue I have with them is that I cannot load my handloads past 2.815 OAL. When I go to 2.820 every now and then I'll get one with a burr on the meplat that will hang up a bit in the mag. KAC mags let you load them much longer but it's really a moot point...as I don't shoot anything longer than 2.815 anyways since I found a load both my SR and my TRG-22 love.
