Buffer tubes not milspec size?
Are the doublestar tubes not milspec size? I got a Magpul CTR mil-spec and it won't fit.
We offer both dimensions of tubes, standard is commercial diameter.

OK Jessie. I've got a DS lower ready for a build. Do you recommend I put a commercial tube or mil-spec tube on it, or does it matter? Does it matter from a threading/integrity stand point?
I prefer the Commercial diameter, as the walls are a bit thicker, therefore it is a bit stronger. The original M4-7 tube was a commercial diameter for that reason. The new Hammer stock is set up on a Mil-spec diameter M4-7 tube so that it would be a straight drop on replacement for the military market.
