Parts Kit
I need to get a "parts kit" - is the one from DPMS (A-15 Ultimate Repair Kit) a good option or more than I need???
It is just for "insurance"... nothing like having a $1000 bat. :)
Basically that looks like a field repair kit with a couple of extra items in it that I don't typically keep in my grab bag. The spares that I keep for keeping an AR running is a spare bolt (bolt itself will not typically fail, but all of the parts contained inside it have a tendency to crap out and in a hurried situation, replacing a bolt only takes a minute or two versus trying to install an extractor on the fly) and a field repair kit. The FRK contains all of the parts that are most likely to break or become MIA while changing parts.
