 Possible to Mount a Vltor CASV on a 7.5" AR That Doesn't Have a Delta Ring?

I don't think you can. It needs the delta ring.

Spoke to Vltor customer service once about the end cap being required (its not) but the delta ring is. One thing the guy on the phone stated is that there must be a standard delta ring assembly. After playing around with mine for several years, id say it would probably wobble a lot with out the delta ring securing it.

Thanks for the info. I wonder if a standard delta ring can be put on a sig 516.

I would think so. The 516 uses a regular ar15 upper, right? If so then your good to go. If not..... well you can always experiment

Once material was removed, it actually matted up to that section of the sig very snugly.
