Just wondering. I would think a heavy 160 grain bullet sub-sonic? sounds like fun.

Sounds like turning a rifle into an overly long straight pull repeating pistol (that's would mimic a .40S&W, but with poorer terminal effects)

Hey now, be nice.
However, a 160 gn 6.5mm VLD would reach out much further than a .40" S&W - and probably further than anything in .300" Blackout.
Gig 'em,

At 200 yards, they have the same drop (53") with the 6.5 having an extra 100fps.
At 300 yards, there's about 1 foot difference, and you've dropped 45MOA.
But, like the box says, even .22 can go 1.5 miles.
I run a 308 Gemtec suppressor on mine all the time - nice compact platform with a 12-inch barrel. No need for hearing protection shooting the HV Wolf or Hornady ammo. Haven't tried loading up subsonics yet as I have a 308 bolt gun dedicated to suppressed shooting.
