Just got a Noveske Diplomat in 300BLK. Sprung for the Geissele 1.5# trigger group. Good triggers will spoil a fella. Used accessories I had hangin around for the carbine. The front BUIS and Pig Snout definitely hafta go. Too big. I don't want this thing all goomed up with over-bulked tacticool crap. Gimme function and a l'il style. This dude is white-collar. The SPARC red dot even looks bigger than I'd like for this setup. Got no plans for full tilt loads right now. Just-over-pistol-cartridge performance for <150 yard stuff and suppressed will be fine. Dies & supplies are on the way. Lookin to be in load development camp next week. If all goes well, and I'm thinkin it will, this little bugger's prolly headed for a SBR tag after the NFA Trust.
..Any suggestions for lighter/smaller e-sights or lower profile BUIS that are of good quality.? I don't mind that rear BUIS, but that front needs "sleeked up". Thanks.. d:^) Schneeks..
Very nice rig, the 300's are a lot of fun.
Nice! I just sent my SBR packet off now getting the pistol built and was looking at 7.62x39 and found 300 blk think that's now the way I wanna go. Was planning a build very similar let us know how she runs. I hope I'm lucky enough to end up with something like that! And thanks for saving me 125 on the pig after seeing it it looks awesome but big.
Edited for Jamison related errors
To trim up that front sight, you could replace the TRX with a TRX Alpha rail. The sight folds into the rail instead of sitting on top. It would be a minor ass pain, as you would have to replace the TRX's proprietary barrel nut with a standard one to install the Alpha.
Nice suggestion on the TRX and thanks for the heads up. I'm gonna keep my eyes open for one local. Stopped in at Del-Ton yesterday and picked up a set of the YHM low profile BUIS for the time-being.
Saw a fellas Micro on a LaRue QD mount yesterday in F'ville and now my SPARC's lookin a l'il big. Hehehe. It never ends.. d;^) Schneeks..
