Building our first 300 Blackout AR Pistol

Like the title says, I am awaiting the barrels arrival Tuesday.
I ordered two 8.5" barrels
One I'm building into an AR Pistol
The second one I am building into an SBR.

Any advice?
Any one have a 300 black out AR Pistol?
Everyone tells me the BCG and mag, buffer tube , buffer and spring are all same as the AR pistols I build now?

Who did you get the barrel from?

I have a 7.5 pistol i think its a grate rig, i actual selling it because i have my eye on a different gun. the AR pistol not my speed but they work really well its a good round everything the same even the BCG. works really good, i would recommend a heavy buffer over the stock carbine. mine works better after i went with it.

Do you have it on the EE? kinda interested in a price and specs.

I didn't think you were, I was just showing you what and where the EE here is.
The EE is not local either, it's National.

jrzy - I too am interested in the same build. Did you say where you got your 8.5" barrels from? I was looking at the 10" LW from Spikes, but am going to run suppressed so I wouldn't mind something a little shorter.

Also, can anyone offer any thoughts on how well the GSE Gen 2 buffer setup would run with the 300 BLK? I see mixed reviews and that's usually pertaining to 5.56

Well tomorrow the brown truck brings two 8.5" 300 Blackout barrels
I will be building one as soon as the truck drops it off. the lower is sitting on my bench complete and awaiting the upper.
I'll post some pics and report on how she fired as soon as I'm done.
Some have asked who made the barrels, I don't want top say until I see how the gun tests.

Black Hole Weaponry has 8" and 9" barrels

Noveske has 8" barrels.

All appear to be GTG.

Am hunting Noveske 8" barrel, but no luck finding it in stock anywhere...

Black Hole Weaponry will make a barrel any length you want in 300 BLK, as long as it's either 1:8.5 or 1:11 twist. All barrels are stainless and polygonal rifling. I've got an 11½" on order right now. Only down side is it's taking 8-10 weeks for a custom order.

Same as their "standard" barrels: $277.50 and $17.00 to deliver it to the door. The wait is the hard part!

I have a Wilson Combat 11.3" and really like it, but looking for a barrel that's better suited to light, supersonic bullets (1:11 twist). The polygonal rifling doesn't hurt either.
