$1,000 Pistol build - what to buy?

Going to build my first soon, so far I'm thinking jse surplus complete upper minus bcg and charging handle, spikes tactical complete zombie lower, bcm charging handle and bcg. Thoughts on this build, or how would you do the build with 1k

I just finished up my pistol build, i went with:

noveske gen 2 lower- 215
LMT 10.5" upper-500 (bought from EE, included handguards and a semi bcg)
White Oak lpk- 43
Pistol Buffer Tube, spring, buffer-60
ALG QMS Trigger- 50

Total- $868

Ended up switching the BCG with the BCM full auto group from my 16", and adding a troy drop in battlerail

You could completely build it yourself, buy better parts than a fully assembled kit and still come out under $1,000.

Buy stripped upper & lower receiver of choice
Buy barrel and BCG of choice (some vendors like RainierArms will check headspace before they ship them)
Handguard of choice
Gas block of choice
Lower parts of choice
Buy upper parts of choice
Trigger of choice.
Receiver extension of choice

Just finished mine a couple of weeks ago with a Model 1 Sales 7.5" kit with chrome lined barrel. I did have to put a o-ring under the extractor but it's been 100% after that.

If you can find a decent priced Colt 6933 upper and buy a palmetto state armory lower, it should put you less than $1000. I just built one and it is a dream to shoot, very reliable as well. The 6933 upper is complete with Colt BCG.
