A1 FSB pin holes in barrel
Hey everyone, new guy here. I've been building rifles for a while now, this is my first retro. I am preparing to install a FSB on a A1 barrel. I have all the info I need, except the approximate depth of the holes in the barrel. I have seen the holes on a .750, but not on a .625. I'm guessing the pins won't "grab" as much "meat" of the barrel as on a .750. If anyone would happen to have this measurement (I know they are all diffferent. I'm looking for an approximate measurment), or a picture of a .625 barrel with the FSB uninstalled, I would appreaciate it greatly! I do have the resources to complete this on my own, I'm just too cheap to buy a fixture as this will probably be the only time I need to do this. Thanks!
Perfect pics! These should do the trick. Many thanks!
Glad i could help.
So what are you building?
Just an M16A1 clone, or as close as I can get to one with my limited budget. (Grew up watching these on T.V., They just look "right"). I purchased a DEZ Arms A1 retro barrel and need to install this FSB. I want to fire this thing!
Nice, Well when you get it done you need to post some pics.
Will do! thanks for the help!
