DPMS M16A1 Upper Price Check
Hi guys,
I see that DPMS offers A1/C7 style uppers for about $200. I found a lightly used one for sale locally. What are these really worth? It has the tear drop forward assist, A2 port door, and rear sight installed.

They seem to be selling lightly used for around $100-$125 or so in the EE.
I haven't caught the C7 bug yet, but if I did, I would be looking to pay around $100 for one in excellent condition.
I would imagine that an original Diemaco <sp> C7 upper would bring considerably more, but I could be wrong, just makes sense to me.

I don't know what dpms parts are valued at but I do know if you put a want to buy add in the EE you will probably get a good deal on an original C7 for much less. I got a great deal on a 604 upper buy placing a wtb add.
That seems really high, last upper I bought was 150 complete off the EE, CH marked A1 slightly used. port cover, rear sight, and FA included.
The seller of the one I found is asking $70, I really don't have a use for it and I don't think I ever would, I'm not a fan of the bump's.

Just beware that the barrel profile is not light at all. I'm pretty sure it weighs the same as an A2 barrel since it's fatter under the hand guards. If I had known this I personally wouldn't have paid any amount for mine.
Wish i know how to show my e-mail comms with DPMS here. I think everyone here would be astonished with how POOR they,re customer relations rep. is.
Thinking about buying that if i dont find anything at the gun and knife show this weekend. saw it a few days ago, he's close to me.
