They tell me yes. If Magpul had left the top of the middy's flat, we'd be there already. I've also tried these mounts on standard M4 hand guards and round hand guards with great success.

IWC showed renders of the SMC scout mount on their Facebook. The SMC is similar to the mount above but it attached to the side of the MOE handguards which means it will work with the midlength handguards. I think they said that they are about 2 weeks out.

I just checked the website and saw that these can be ordered to place the light on either the ejection port side or the bolt release side. As a lefty, I was stoked to see this. Definitely the best light mount option for my inexpensive carbine!
