The T.R.I.M. (Tactical Rail Interface, Modular) AR rail has been designed by the Wilson Combat engineering team to be among the lightest, strongest and most versatile compact free-floating rail systems on the market.
Light, Strong and Compact Free-Floating Rail Design
Machined from 6005A-T5 Aluminum Extrusion
Mil-Spec Hard Anodized Black Finish
Simple, 5-Minute Installation with Common Hand Tools
Easily Removed or Replaced in the Field
Quick Custom Positioning of Supplied Rail Segment
Large Internal Diameter Covers Low Profile Gas Blocks and Many Piston Systems
Dual, Integral Push-Button Sling Attachment Points
Machined of high-strength 6005A-T5 aircraft aluminum with a Mil-Spec hard anodized finish, the T.R.I.M. rail handguard / interface and its robust, anti-rotational mounting system doesn't sacrifice strength, stability or accuracy over bulkier designs. The oversize and tough nitrocarburized 4130 steel barrel attachment nut reduces heat transfer and the ergonomic handguard design offers a sleek, non-abrasive platform for comfortable dynamic shooting.
Light, strong and easy to install-the Wilson Combat T.R.I.M. AR-15 rail interface solves multiple installation issues our gunsmiths have encountered with other rail systems in over 10 years of building thousands of our custom AR-15 rifles. The entire T.R.I.M. interface can be easily end-user installed in five minutes with common hand tools and can be quickly removed or replaced with a different length rail interface in the field with nothing more than a hex key.
The T.R.I.M.'s attachment points enable the end-user to quickly position the supplied modular Picatinny rail panel on the attached interface in pre-specified locations. A generous inside diameter of 1.47" accepts low profile gas blocks and many of the available piston gas systems. Integral push-button Q.D. sling swivel attachment points are located on both sides of the T.R.I.M. for the ultimate in sling mounting versatility.

How about some pics of it on an actual AR?
I love the new TRIM rails!! What would be even nicer than pics on an actual AR though would be if you guys came out with TRIM rails for the large frame rifles!!!

This looks really good. Will you have a bipod mount option that would skip the rails?
I keep telling myself that I am not going to buy another handguard for my 3-gun rifle, but looks pretty slick.
Damn, those are sexy
This is my favorite handguard out right now. I have the 12.5" on my rifle and its great. The fit and finish feels amazing. When your grab the forearm it feels like they built it to be held.....go figure. Great product. I will take a couple pics of mine and post it. I am in the middle of reviewing it anyways.
Please show some pics and your review. I like this one a lot!
Okay, hmmm. Is it two piece? In other words does it require the removal of the front sight? Does it use a standard barrel nut?
Okay so 12.6" is for a rifle with an exposed front sight and the longer one is for a rifle length with a low profile gas block. I can never remember the %$%#ing lengths
edit-looks like it uses a proprietary barrel nut and requires front sight removal. That doesn't bother me but some guys might shy away from that. I might try one of these in rifle length
Does the bottom require the attachment of rail sections or is it railed? Just thinking about needing separate sections for a bipod and fore grip. Looks like only the top is railed from the schematics.
It's 1 piece, and it comes with it's own barrel nut.
Looks like the rifle length version might be lighter than the PRI carbon fiber, which I thinks is a 16 ounces. be nice to see it on an upper, looks like a nice lean and simple design from the drawing.
No rails so no rail covers on the 3/6/9 o clock sides, so if it heats up from a lot of shooting you need a grip...but that's the price for the light weight I guess.

Here is a good review of the TRIM rail....
Review
thanks!
What length barrel is that on the picture with the KX3?
I got my eye on the TRIM for my next build. It looks like it has everything I'd want in a rail.
How would these compare to the Troy rails as far as diameter.
Looks likea centurion rail that uses it's own bbl nut and us customizable. I would be interested in hearing answers to all of aimless questions regarding lengths.

Other than circular vent holes, i see no resemblance. The centurion is a full quad rail and 2 peices. Unless if there is a different rail other than the c4 that i dont know about....then i'll just look dumb

I agree there are major differences but from side profile same lightening holes, same step up from the lower rail to the receiver. They are similar in appearance.

The Centurion rail has a means to prevent rotation. The TRIM rail does not.

I've had my 10.4 trim on for awhile now.....never have i felt like it was going to come off. Lately ive been playing around with muzzle devices and at the range have no vice. So ive been cranking pretty hard with all my leverage on the rail and no movement
