The Spikes ST-9X 9mm buffer is actually only 7.5oz
It is a nice buffer, but I hate it when I don't get what is advertised. I weighed my Spikes ST-9X 9mm buffer - which is supposed to be 8.5oz - with a food scale and a postal scale. It came out 1 oz light at 7.5oz.
Not the hugest deal in the world, but it is disappointing.
inquire about it in their industry forum..
Even if it is a negligible difference it is still misleading. Or maybe a defective buffer
